The first,
belonging to
J. Filek of Cape Breton,
Nova Scotia, Canada,
gave birth in 1978.
Cypriot Dimitri Andreov
Hadjiprodromou’s pet
had the same number
in May, 1999.

 

 

Longest Ears on a Rabbit
On November 1, 2003 the ears
of an English Lop
called Nipper's Geronimo
were measured at 79 cm
(31.125 in)
in a complete span
at the
American Rabbit Breeders
Associatio
n National Show
in Wichita, Kansas, USA.
Nipper's Geronimo
is owned by
Waymon and Margaret Nipper
of Bakersfield, California, USA.

Longest Lived Rabbit:
The longest-lived rabbit
was caught from the wild
on August 6, 1964,
and christened Flopsy.
It died 18 years,
10 months, and 21 days later,
at the home of L.B. Walker of
Longford, Tasmania, Australia.
